Built on a few promises
- Free for attendees and organizers. No RSVP fees, no subscriptions.
- Your details stay yours. Organizers see your name – and your contact details only when an event needs them.
- Sponsors see numbers, not people. They get attendance counts, never who you are.
- No sponsor spam. Nothing sponsored happens without the organizer's yes.
- Organizers stay private. Their names are shown only if they choose.
- Safe by default. New events are checked, and risky ones are reviewed before they go live.
Browse in one language. Attend in many.
Set your site language separately from the languages you can follow at events, so you can see every event you could actually join.
We do one thing well.
mmthere.com is a new alternative to community event platforms that keep getting more expensive. We give you one place to publish your events – everything else, you can simply link.
Why we're building this
Running a community group shouldn't cost money. On the popular meetup sites — meetup.com, Eventbrite and their like — organizers pay a subscription just to host events. Half the point of a community is that it doesn't come with a bill.
Meet Me There is the opposite, and we plan to keep it that way: free for community organizers, always. Sponsors fund it instead — companies sponsor the groups and events they want to support, and that's the whole business model. Sponsors see attendance numbers, never people. No attendee data is ever sold or shared.
